Revised machine database to include the MacBook, Intel iMac and several other models Added code to dynamically load machine database on launch from the Xbench website Added support for temporarily turning off beam sync on Tiger while running graphics tests Fixed an issue that causes Xbench to fail to launch on Leopard Built with Xcode 2.4

Apparently no longer supported.. Used to be a useful program but it no longer appears to be supported. It locks up on the thread test but will run if that test is disabled. This is possibly due to some new Intel processors which support hyperthreading. The results comparison site has been down for a very long time. Pros: Is still useful for checking disk access speed. Cons: Needs a complete re-write. It places too much weight on disk access.A problem now that HDDs, SSDs and Hybrid drives are all available as OEM equipment.
